From the  "we don't get no respect" department:

Finite monkeys can't produce Shakespeare. Six monkeys at the Paignton Zoo were provided with a word-processor for a month, to see if they'd produce anything like Shakespeare. No dice. Monkeys != playwrights. Link Discuss (via NTK) [Boing Boing Blog]

Some folks see technical communicators as little more than glorified clerks and typists, or Word-monkeys. Will this report get us more respect? I doubt it. We have to work for that ourselves.
