Doc blogs me blogging him, but in Radio's news aggregator it comes across smooshed together with another post:

Euan Semple: ...although we have not come up with a preferable term to "user experience," I am not merely a user. Nor, dear employer, am I "human capital." You don't own me; you rent me.

Not that I mind being mistaken for a tall bearded Scotsman, but I don't know if it's my aggregator or Doc's source. Oh, well, I welcome the 15 seconds of notoriety.

Update: Doc sez it was his goof, and he's fixed it. Thanks, Doc!

It also occurs to me that the rental metaphor might be a bit off; perhaps it's contractors who are rented, and regular employees are leased. Whatever, I just never liked the idea of being anyone's "capital."
