I so want us to stop sending humans into space to do jobs that satellites and robots can do. We've gained nothing by risking astronauts lives, and nothing by killing two shuttle crews. Nothing but dreadful lessons. The money spent could be much more productively used--how many Hubbles could be built and launched for the cost of fixing the foam problem?
