Better than Strunk & White Some of my all-time favorite grammatical errors are in this top-ten list: 10 grammar mistakes to avoid. ZDNet highlights 10 grammar mistakes to avoid because, frankly (they're just being honest because we're all friends), they make you look stupid.... [Lifehacker] And right there at #7 is the one that sets my teeth on edge every time: writing "different than" instead of "different from." Just drives me nuts. The rest are just dumb silly mistakes that people who don't know any better make[~]and even some of us who do know better but aren't paying attention.
