Went hunting for legos in thrift shops today. Found a little canister filled with odd parts for $1.99 at Savers on Lake street. Legos are pretty hard to come by at thrift stores. This lot barely broke even on bricklink. A lot of these plates, though. So far, the best thrift store for legos has been Arc Value Village in Richfield. 2 scores out of 5 visits there so far.
Others look promising but never found any legos there: Disabled American Vets, Goodwill in St. Paul.
Others absolutely don't have good toy departments: Salvation Army on Nicolette in Minneapolis, St. Vincent De Paul store in Minneapolis.
