There is no demand for messages?
Jay Rosen is mentioned on Sandhill Trek. Doc Searls has said "There is no demand for messages." In a sense this is correct, but there is a real demand for high quality messages. Whether on paper, in a song, by word of mouth, or syndicated on blogs, the high quality message can travel fast.
The Age of Mass Media. Jay Rosen says, "The age of mass media is just that, an age. It doesn't have to last forever."... [Sandhill Trek]

Very 2004 - Notes on Dennis Miller and 'The Apprentice'
I believe both Dennis Miller's new show on CNBC and Donald Trump's Reality Show, The Apprentice exhibit some characteristics of Expressionist Fab Culture.
These shows do not exhibit an expressionist depth, like say, Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone from the 1950's, but I think some of the style, design and pop aesthetics qualify. Very 2004.
