Sports doesn't get any better than when the underdog wins. Tonight, a big underdog dominated an entire hockey game and came out on top in overtime when the Calgary Flames beat the powerhouse Detroit Red Wings 1-0. Martin Gelinas knocks home the game winner. That's one of the main reasons I love sports. What a fabulous game. On a night when the NBA Eastern Conference continues to exhibit everything wrong with the NBA today (see the box score for the Nets-Pistons game and you'll see what I mean), I'm grateful that hockey came through with all the best things in sports. A hard fought game, no one at fault in the end, just the best team winning regardless of whether they were favored or not. Good stuff indeed.
