It may be a weird time to be thinking about football for you, but it's a good time for me. First tip of the new season? Expect the Oakland Raiders to contend again next year in the AFC. Picking up Ted Washington and Warren Sapp will immediately make a drastic improvement on the defensive line and I expect Kerry Collins to compete for the starting job fast, regardless of the rumblings coming out of Oakland right now. They've had a pretty good offseason.
