Redesign...
If you aggregate this site and not my other, yes! I have two sites, they have different content, you're missing the redesign that took place this weekend. I got fed up with the plain boring MT template that looks like an 8 year old made it.
I have to say, I like the header over there better than I like the one I made for my Radio Weblog. I'm seriously thinking a redesign of the header is in order. Well, maybe I should wait. I'm still working on Outdoor-Adventurer.
Thanks to Joe and Deb who've already taken a look and gave me their feedback.
Damned no matter what...
You gotta look at the current situation with Iraq this way. They can either keep their current course and deny having WMD (weapons of mass destruction) and helping terrorists, in which case the US will invade and take over.
OR....
They come clean, tell the UN/US what they have and then the US invades because they lied and didn't conform to the UN resolution.
What does Saddam have to lose?
Cloning...
Mystery over death of Australia's first cloned sheep
Australia's first cloned sheep has died despite being in apparent good health, but any chance of getting to the root of the mysterious death was lost when its decomposing carcass was cremated.
I was reading the article when I came across this comment:
Lewis said he did not believe premature aging -- an affliction that affected Dolly -- lay behind Matilda's demise.
What's interesting is that I keep up with the science community news here in the States and I'd never heard this before. Does that mean there may be complications to the purported cloning of humans by CloneAid?
On the philisophical side: Is it morally right to doom the cloned children to die an early death if indeed premature aging is a case of cloning?
Segway's on the way...
Celebration, FL, goes Segway-bonkers. Celebration, Florida -- the pocket new-Urbanist community on land previously part of the Walt Disney World stake in central FL -- has welcomed Segways with open arms. Of course, this is the same town that spent a fortune wiring the whole place up for ISDN video-phones...
Celebration is now a test market for Segway Human Transporters, people movers that are powered by a battery, balanced by gyroscopes and look something like pogo sticks on wheels. The machines will be available nationwide in March, but people here who agree to answer the company's e-mail messages and questionnaires for a year may buy Segways early and receive a $2,000 refund on the $4,950 price."We want to know how the actual owners use it in their everyday life," said Morgan Smith, brand manager for Segway of Manchester, N.H., "whether it is saving time or helping them get to and from work or running errands during their lunch hour or just getting outside to see people."

Hey Dane...you wanna point this out to the Winnemucca city council? Maybe they'll make Winnemucca Segway City USA.
