Exceptions to the usual rules on when to sell---keep it if.
1. The company's fundamentals are down because the whole industry is down, and it is doing better than it's competitors.
2. If it is a leading company in a leading industry so you can expect a significant recovery when the economy improves.
3. The company has a strong financial condition----in other words a low debt-to-equity ratio---so it can withstand the downturn with fewer adverse effects.
