The Print Media
I was interviewed (phone call) today by a woman who works for the Associated Press in New York. She is writing an article about the Corporate Reform Bill a.k.a. Sarbanes/Okley Bill and wanted to talk to an individual investor. The bill passed a year ago, and she is writing about its effects and investor perception.
She was most interesting to visit with---45 minutes. After the fact, I always cringe about what I said and how it might look in print. Her article will be on the wire between the 26th and the 30th. I don't know if I will show up in her article or not.
This was the third interview within the last couple weeks---one with the Daily News and the other a freelance writer in San Francisco doing a story for a Credit Union online magazine. These referrals come from NAIC's public relations firm in New York. They are fun to do---talk to interesting writers.
