The Print Media

I was interviewed (phone call) today by a woman who works for the Associated Press in New York. She is writing an article about the Corporate Reform Bill a.k.a. Sarbanes/Okley Bill and wanted to talk to an individual investor. The bill passed a year ago, and she is writing about its effects and investor perception.

She was most interesting to visit with---45 minutes. After the fact, I always cringe about what I said and how it might look in print. Her article will be on the wire between the 26th and the 30th. I don't know if I will show up in her article or not.

This was the third interview within the last couple weeks---one with the Daily News and the other a freelance writer in San Francisco doing a story for a Credit Union online magazine. These referrals come from NAIC's public relations firm in New York. They are fun to do---talk to interesting writers.

One More Great and Glorious Alaskan Summer Day It was HOT today. Acording to Daughter's blog today was another record breaking day.

All those tourists who think this is typical Alaskan weather!

I noticed that the record low for July 14 was 42 degrees in 1966. I wore my down jacket most of that summer.
