Email Sorting, pt 2 More information of relevance to my ponderings on email sorting, et al. [...] So I think that Paul's technique might need to become more context aware.  However, I was impressed with how much the "out of band" data gave away the content in his examples, so maybe I'm making too much of this. Obviously, the real point here is that the death of email has been seen by the powers that be, especially Microsoft. They are moving to utilise Sharepoint Team Server (STS) and Groove to get around the problem. The problem with their solution is that STS and Groove only work within groups that have already formed. This may work for current commercial ventures, where the group formation is done by management decree, but it fails abysmally for loose coupled groups. So, there is air in this area, but it may well get collapsed by the Microsoft Advertising Blitzkreig. Not that I'd let that stop me ... ;) 11:53:35 AM
