UWIN Phase I Governor Walker announces the completion of UWIN Phase I, voice operability - tested during Operation Electric Storm Governor Walker discusses several tech issues in the latest issue of Wasatch Digital IQ.  She will be holding a press conference today to discuss the implementation of Phase I of the Utah Wireless Integrated Network (UWIN) which focuesed on voice interoperability.  We have successfully interconnected the Utah Communications Agency Network (UCAN) 800 MHz network, two state-operated VHF networks, the Utah National Guard's radio assets, and various other resources using Motorola's Omnilink solution. 8:47:19 AM    comment []
