Political Correctness on the Web Now we have a debate over whether it's appropriate for legislators to post initiatives on the state legislature's website. Marty Stephens, the Speaker of the House posted his APPLE initiative on the legislature's site and Ralph Becker, the Minority Leader, would like it taken off. Perhaps they should consider allocating space to each legislator where he/she can post their initiatives like the Federal government does. They shouldn't be campaign sites, but a medium that legislators can use to communicate their initiatives and what they are doing to constituents and other interested parties. Even better, each member could even have their own weblog that they use to share their thoughts on issues as they arise.
