I got mentioned in a Wired article on micropayments and e-gold. Well indirectly. They refer to "only a few songs, photographs and other bits of content are up for sale" using BitPass. You can see what's available for sale at BitPass's Where to Spend page. It's been interesting watching that page grow, as clearly comics and music are well represented. I'm the only photography site there, so far. Thanks Wired.

Another tidbit regarding BitPass sales figures: Joshua Ellis reports that way back on July 2nd, he had sold over $100 of music. That was before the NY Times article on BitPass.

A preview of the Nikon D2H by Rob Galbraith points out how this camera is the first DSLR to use technology not derived from a film camera. Interesting comment in the conclusion: "If ever there was an indicator, however, that Nikon thinks it can build a better film camera that what has come before, it's all the new, cool stuff in the D2H."

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
