Fool.com talks about AOL v9 including QuickTime, but points out that the new version is unlikely to staunch the decline in AOL presence because broadband is cutting into AOL customers.
This Washington Post article talks about how AOL has changed their strategy for rolling out the new version.
Nonetheless, anything that gets QuickTime installed on more desktops is good for VR authors.
