There's a new print magazine called "Digital PhotoPro" targeted at the pro/prosumer market, and their premiere issue is very promising. There is an article on how Sports Illustrated magazine has switched from film to all digital, and features on photographer Jeff Schewe and Howard Schatz. The field of DSLR cameras (tremendously popular for shooting VRs) are well covered. The photos are printed very nicely. They promise to cover:

  • Extensive pro-level equipment coverage to show you what's new and how to use it
  • Detailed explanations of the latest technologies[~]everything from Digital SLRs to software to scanners to photo gear
  • Tips and techniques that will help you create a successful studio and run a profitable photography business
  • How-to articles that show you innovative ways to use your hardware and software

Purpose
VRlog provides news, developments and analysis of the virtual reality (VR) world from a nature photographer's perspective. Since I am not connected to or funded by any VR vendor, I intend to objectively appraise what's going on, and the direction VR is headed in. -- erik goetze
