Over at DefenseTech they have
a story on a new 360 spherical sensor packaged like a rubber tennis
ball for use by troops in combat. It's meant to be thrown into position
and then transmit what is visible using a omni-directional lens. It's
called the Eyeball, from ODF Optronics.
I wonder if they are licensing the algorithms from iPIX?
