The last week has been really difficult as a result of team dynamics. Our merry group of six is learning how to deal with "problem members", slowly but surely, and I am finding it to be a painful but satisfying experience.
Painful because telling someone what they must do to improve is not something that is comfortable for me.
Satisfying because feedback and communication are two areas in which I need to grow, and doing it at Insead is a much better environment than the next job I will likely have, where bad decisions can result in career changes, firings, etc. This is a low-risk way to learn about high-risk activities. I didn't think this is why I came here, but it is turning out to be a valuable part of the experience to me.
