Googled! While it took a little longer than I expected for this blog to show up on the Goog, it's now number 2 (or 3 -- how do you count duplicates?) for my originally-intended-to-be-temporary tagline, dispatches from miami beach. This is strange, though: Google reports that "'from' is a very common word and was not included in your search." Yet, if you leave out the word "from," the results are slightly different. This site ranks 3rd (or 4th...) when you just search on dispatches miami beach. 8:17:47 PM    comment []

Good new / bad news: The good news is, my bike was still in the building's bicycle room and it worked fine once the tires were pumped up again. The bad news is, it's really too hot to ride at lunchtime in Miami Beach in the summer! I almost overdid it today, but it was nice to get back on the 2-wheeler.
