White House report to call for tougher net security: "...how the internet can be secured against criminals and terrorists." ... "tighter information sharing between companies developing and deploying IT systems, as well as faster adoption of secure versions of ubiquitous internet protocols." ... "Business should consider the potential benefits of disclosing information concerning their information security efforts so that customers and investors can make knowledgeable choices." Today I have been using Radio for a full month. I have written here 256 posts, and published 15 longer pieces. I have also made some comments and contributions to blogs elsewhere.

Has this been worthwhile? Thanks to blogging, I have became interested in online publishing for the first time since several years. About 10 years ago I was similarly eager to be online. Then I started a web service on mathematics. It was quite interesting to watch the server logs. I also was used the search robots to build a community of math sites.

In the end the burden of maintaining an up-to-date site became too much. The site still exists, but is rarely updated. Perhaps with the blogging tools the site could be resurrected, but I lack the will to do it.
