I wrote a new column on the fight between SCO, IBM, and Linux (available in Finnish, Saippuaoopperaa parhaimmillaan: SCO vastaan Linux). It seems that there is currently so many controversial IT topics that you could write about them daily for a whole year.

[Item Permalink] Moving to a new office -- Comment()
I'll move next monday to the neighbouring building, to start with a new group of experts. I'll support scientific computing with my new group: mathematical and statistical software, mathematical modeling, numerical methods, software development, parallelization, code optimization, and data analysis. After four years in the current group, it is good to have new challenges, but at the same time I'm a bit sad.
