[Item Permalink] Modeling fluid flow with Elmer -- Comment()
Today I moved to the example number six of the Elmer tutorial. This is a classic problem. We are modeling incompressible flow passing a step. I solved the model both with linear triangles and 2nd order rectangles. The meaning of the windows is (from bottom to top): triangle mesh, solution with triangles, and solution with rectangles.

PLoS Biology contains high-quality open access articles on biology: "PLoS Biology features works of exceptional significance in all areas of biological science - from molecules to ecosystems - including works at the interface of other disciplines." As an example, there is a feature article titled New Antibiotics - Resistance Is Futile: "It is the certain fate of all antibacterials to be fought off eventually by the pathogens they target.
