Rocks Cluster Register lists clusters build using the Rocks Linux distribution. We are currently evaluating Rocks as a platform for grid infrastructure. Seems that the number of Rocks clusters is growing rapidly.

Today I solved with Elmer the Helmholtz equation, which is used to model lossless acoustic waves. This is example number eight of the Elmer tutorial. The following picture shows a solution for the model:

HP deploys Linux desktops in Asia: "HP announced yesterday that it would the first top tier manufacturer to offer desktop PCs loaded with Linux across the world's biggest and most populous continent.
