The Art of Heavy Lifting Last night, I attended the presentation of Martin Fowler and Pramod Sadalage at COOUG. They are both from ThoughtWorks - a software development company that works on three continents in truly distributed environments. Pramod's presentation on Agile database development showed a refreshing approach to developing enterprise applications.  Martin was promoting his new book 'Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture' and based on the captivated audience last night - this may well be as successful as his now classic 'Refactoring'. 6:01:40 AM
