Microsoft SQL2K Server Notification Services Last night, at the Conn SQL Server Group, I saw a very good presentation of MS SQ2K Server's new feature - Notifications Services (see MSDN magazine). It was presented by Allan Pinto (Microsoft Consulting). SQL2K-NS is a very versatile feature and can do a lot for enterprise applications. What would be interesting to see are 'notifications' made by SOAP messages. Allan said that is feasible programmatically! Good stuff, well worth exploring - I downloaded the SQL2K-NS add-on for my server already. 7:03:51 AM
