A picture named LibertyHour.jpgLiberty Hour

Well, there have been about 6 shows so far, so I guess it's time to start advertising more vigorously.  We come on right between The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity Insanity.  Topics of discussion generally revolve around the threat to our Liberty via the encroachments of the State.

"State" there being the organized bureaucracy operating not as government but as an organized criminal empire...in the spirit of St. Augustine's timeless observation, "Absent justice, what are kingdoms but vast robberies."

For more on the important distinction between "government" (good) and "the state" (bad) you need to read Albert J. Nock.

Our hour spot is on alternate Mondays flying under the J.J. Jefferies "Voice of Authority Show" Weekdays 2-3pm slot.  Not the greatest sounding name to fly under there, I know.  We are working on making the shows every Monday.  Tune in tomorrow to catch us.  I am sure we will have something to say about Howard Coble's suggestion that we need a plan B for withdrawl from Iraq.

This show was launched to promote our efforts to stop the FTAA.  We came out strongly against Amendment 1 and but some local Chamber of Commerce apparatchiks in a flutter.  We have also talked about river basin initiatives, and the RUCO codes coming down on landlords.

I know I get a strong AM1230 signal in my car all the way out to Summerfield. We have gotten several phone calls from the far north of Greensboro, so I know we are getting some coverage with the show beyond the High Point area.

Our theme song is from Grandpa Jones.
