Relief Aid info request.

When I get back to Greensboro this weekend, I intend to ask the owners of our favorite Thai restaurant (Grand Thai on North Battleground) if they know of a private Thai charity we can direct a relief donation to.

Is anyone out there familiar with a particulary meritorious (pre-existing) relief organization they can personally vouch for? Hint: Unicef and CARE are not on our short list.

Even though my federal government is already sending some of my family's money into the official bureaucratic relief void without our permission/authority, we would still like to direct some of the funds which we still directly control to a worthy entity.

UFO Update

I put my vote in that the UFO's over Iran are from a terrestrial source.

In light of our spat of historic hurricanes, tsunamis and snowfalls however, if you hear of two guys breathing fire in front of a wall in Jerusalem please consider a plan B.
