Responsibility Yahoo News from Japan: "The operator of the Asada Nosan farm, about 230 miles west of Tokyo, was given a one-year suspended sentence for violating livestock hygiene laws and concealing from authorities that the disease was killing chickens at the farm. The couple who owned the farm committed suicide because of the scandal." Sounds like a closed case. But I would suggest at least a cursory investigation to make sure the farmer's debts were paid off and that title on the farm had not been recently transferred to some unsavory types that may be a digit short on their hands. 9:32:36 PM![]() |
