Anti-Spyware - Beta release While I was on the brink Saturday of tossing my Windows based notebook computer in a non-recyleable trash can, I should report that the Microsoftfs beta release of their new Anti-Spyware product performed admirably upon installation Sunday afternoon. A few simple user-friendly clicks and all the adware products that Norton said were on my computer, along with a few others were erased from my system --- permanently it appears for the moment. My system in working faster without any glitches on other installed software. The only hang up is that on boot-up I now get a single windows pop-up notifying me that a .dll file module cannot be found. Not bad for a beta release from Microsoft. I honestly feel somewhat confident that I currently have no spyware on my computer that is not authorized by Microsoft under its terms of agreement with DOJ. 8:23:30 AM![]() |
