flaggers stoping traffic     Road Hazards!

Shortcut or the Long Way? Device Helps You Decide - "AM radio stations already provide regular traffic updates in busy urban areas. But TrafficGauge points out that its customers have the luxury of listening to music or silence rather than stress-inducing traffic reports."

Grrr... Just what we don't need—another excuse for drivers to take their eyes off the road. The website doesn't even bother to say if this thing mounts on the dash. I'm assuming it probably does at least. (Imagine the pileups if everybody on the freeway starts digging around under the seat to find their traffic-monitoring gadget instead of watching real-life traffic right in front of them.)

I don't know about you, but I couldn't take all that info in "at a glance." These are roads I do actually drive in real life so it's not that I'm looking at a map of an unfamiliar area. Take a look and decide for yourself.
