BlairWatch: "There's been a bit of flooding, in case you hadn't noticed, and there's a degree of concern about the amount of money going into flood defences in the UK (Not Enough, is the general view, which is about right). With that in mind, it's nice to note the Government announcing billions of pounds is to be spent combating water-related problems by, er, building the two 65,000 ton aircraft carriers they've been looking at since about the time HMS Dreadnought was launched. Perhaps they can build them in Tewkesbury."

Gordon, old sport, have you noticed there's a spot of bother here? Ah, you say, that's only a matter of proper insurance? You couldn't be bothered?
Navigare necesse est, vivere non necesse est? Quite, quite, old horse.

ICH: "Document uncovers details of a planned coup in the USA in 1933 by right-wing Americans.
The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America, (owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George Bush's Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression."

It looks like George Bush is picking up the fascist legacy.

CommonDreams: "The House Judiciary Committee voted contempt of Congress citations Wednesday against White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and President Bush's former legal counselor, Harriet Miers.
The 22-17 party-line vote - which would sanction the pair for failure to comply with subpoenas on the firings of several federal prosecutors - advanced the citation to the full House.
Congress can hold a person in contempt if that person obstructs proceedings or an inquiry by a congressional committee. Congress has used contempt citations for two main reasons: to punish someone for refusing to testify or refusing to provide documents or answers, and for bribing or libeling a member of Congress."

In fact it is usurper Bush who should be impeached. So long as this doesn't happen the United States is a dictatorship.
