(US-California-San Diego) The Project Director will have overall accountability for the timelines, cost management, quality and service for all assigned programs/projects. S/he will act as the primary liaison with sponsors for awarded work and will be responsible for integration of functional area plans with project timeline, scope and contract management. S/he will be a project communications leader, reporting to internal senior management and to the sponsor operating team. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have a minimum RN degree; preferably four-year degree in a health related discipline. An advanced degree is desirable. Education should be complemented by 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, 5-10 years clinical trials participation in operations and management, 2-3 years experience in more than one functional area supporting clinical research, minimum 4 years trials management experience, and 3 years of supervisory responsibilities. Knowledge of Project Management software is beneficial.
