Thanks, I am seeking candidates to perform software test on state-of-the-art biotech instrumentation. This individual will participate in the product development cycle from initial concept review to final product release. Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test procedures for a variety Windows 2000/XP based instrumentation software products. Develop test cases based on functional specifications and design documents. Organize and maintain defect-tracking and test case databases for multiple projects. Software: Unix, Perl, CVS, PVCS, MS Office Skills required: BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. 2+ years of experience testing software for commercial applications, preferably for instrumentation products or equivalent Understanding of the software testing process, test scripts development and experience with software automation tools like Silk and JUnit. White box testing experience with Java and Oracle applications highly desired. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Must be a strong team player/leader and a self-starter. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with distributed software testing, Java, J2EE, JUnit and Oracle, on Windows 2000/XP environments. A scientific background in biochemistry, biology or chemistry is highly desired.

REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of Bachelors degree in Toxicology, science discipline or equivalent. * Must have a thorough knowledge of domestic and international Product Safety and Toxicology, and be an industry-recognized authority in consumer products toxicology. * Experience working with 3rd party providers of toxicology testing services. * Experience with human testing, as client has a no animal testing policy. * Experience in consumer goods safety assessments, preferably with skincare and cosmetics. * Solid in verbal communications, and ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical people. * 10+ Years of relevant experience.

Tasks include writing test plans and cases, selecting statistically sound test suites from large data sets, writing test tools and generating reports. Requirements: Requires a Master's or PhD in Math, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent experience, and 1+ years test experience with algorithms. Requires knowledge and skills in Matlab, C/C++ or Java programming and the ability to develop testing tools and documentation. General knowledge in one of the following areas is essential: pattern recognition, statistical data analysis, microarray technology, image and database analysis. Matlab programming skills and experience with gene expression analysis tools are a plus.
