They offer the successful applicant for this permanent position full participation in their internally funded program of research. The Senior Biostatistician designs and analyzes epidemiologic studies and is responsible for the statistical analysis and interpretation of complex data. S/he •Further develops and maintains the National Epidemiology Database •Plans and designs research projects; •Analyses and interprets complex databases; •Provides expert design and statistical analysis of epidemiological studies; •Acts as a biostatistical resource •Prepares and submits manuscripts for publication and presents at scientific meetings; •Supervises Research Associates; and •Establishes and maintains links with academic institutions and the research community; $60-80,000 Strong communication skills in English are essential. A PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with an undergraduate degree in Probability and Statistics (or Mathematics).
