(US) Our client, a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) has an immediate opening for a Clinical Project Group Leader. This high profile position is very customer needs oriented. This position reports directly to the VP and will be responsible for clinical trials marketing, sales, personnel, financial performance and project completion. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Provide leadership to Project Leaders *Deliver projects on time, on budget and at the expected quality standards *High level project status analysis *Make sure project management tools are available and used for forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project progress *Hire, train, mentor and evaluate of project team members *Participate/provide input to sales and marketing teams to develop client relationships re: the companies clinical trial services *Review proposals and bids REQUIREMENTS: *MUST HAVE MD, PhD, PharmD and minimum of 10 years clinical development experience OR 20 years of experience in clinical research with at least 5 years at a CRO *Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and team building experience *Experience working with customers, building relationships and developing business.
