So Sayeth John Paul The Pope writes in his new book that gay marriages are a part of a "new ideology of evil."  Interesting. You know, while I myself am not gay, nor do I know any gay people who have gotten married, from what I've seen and read about this topic, I have to agree with the Pope on this one. Honestly.  Nothing says pure evil like two people in love, willing to devote their lives to each other, facing public ridicule for a cause they believe in.  Even worse when they threaten to take a child out of an orphanage and raise them in their own home within a nurturing enviroment, providing medical, educational, financial, and emotional support. Who Knew Spam Could Be So Funny? Latest site to earn a few grins from me is Spamusement.  The premise behind it all is a guy named Steven Franks takes spam email headlines and turn them into "poorly drawn" cartoons.  As unamusing as that may sound at first, in practice it works. So here how it works:  go to Spamusement, read a headline, think of whatever image comes to mind, then click to see his version.  More often than not, his is better.  That and he seems to get better spam than I do (never thought I'd be jealous of something like that). My favorite:  Too many decisions.  Close second:  Scientific breakthrough or dumb luck? 5:05:18 PM     |
