My favorite part of NGN is the conference wrap-up. It's where John McQuillan and Dave Passmore relax and go over what they heard at the conference and put their spin on it. They didn't disappoint.

At the end John McQuillan said good-bye. He won't be back to the conference. Not only is he retiring from NGN, he is retiring from networking. John has been the heart and soul of NGN. It will be interesting to see how the conference fares without him.

This is a first for me. The first time I've been a witness to a man who has done great things calling it a career. John has been influential in helping me formulate my ideas about what is happening in our industry. He went out with a touch of class and a hitch in his voice. I'll miss his insights.........
