Jim's Pond - Exploring the Universe of Ideas
"Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet. Then all things are at risk. It is as when a conflagration has broken out in a great city, and no man knows what is safe, or where it will end." --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Emacs Diversion

The recently passed weekend seems like a blur. Filled with shoveling snow and studying the Emacs tutorial. Why? I want to learn to script in Perl. In order to do so, I need a to use a good editor. Vi? Emacs? The nod goes to Emacs. It's a religious argument for sure.

I've been through the tutorial twice. Can now move between buffers and in and out of suspend mode. Not very intuitive. Just necessary..........
