worked 20 hours, slept for 4, started all over again this morning. Client wanted to know why her instructions were missing steps - hell at 4am in the morning with no sleep on a Sunday no less, instructions might be lacking..lol
all my year-end payroll taxes are done, thank god...only a few more clients need theirs completed..oh yea, all my bills are finally paid - and that bonus - :( went to payroll taxes and the trees.
what's with all the people who work Sundays? when I think I'm going to get peace and quiet and no cell phone ringing, three seperate clients wake me up at 10 - don't they know its a Sunday.
men I really don't get it, maybe I should say boys, i don't get. I found this game Zuma on the young guy's desk and sent him an email asking him if I could borrow a copy and his email back sounded like he was surprised I was into video games, he said yes I could borrow it and that he hadn't even tried it out but was going to now...seriously, if he got to know me, he'd find out that I have many interests beside bookkeeping.
Stuffit - great program if you can get the demo version to deinstall - after many hours of tech support and web support, I got a copy of NukeIt - which didn't work and finally realized that I had to be logged in as the local admin on my computer to get it to install...anyone needs a copy of NukeIt - i have it
Learn how to use logic - yeah!!!!!! now I can create my own songs - you can hear my attempts at making my own music..i know radio has a music tool but I don't feel like trying to figure that out right now...so if you're interested, listen to nordic funk here or acoustic ballad here (i think have a little too much bass in this one)
Did you know it was a holiday today? Me, didn't realize until I got to the bank and it was closed.
What is with this cold? My car wouldn't start today, finally started but by that time, there was no way I was going to make it to SF to work 2 hours and then leave, so I decided to finally go to the grocery store - what a concept, 1 hour to just go to the store and I thought, hmm, I have the afternoon to myself - short-lived starting getting calls about an hour later but it was a nice idea.
oh yea, my ex-employee that I laid off filed an unemployment claim - funny she wasn't an employee here, never made it to that stage, she was only an independent contractor - now I have to do something with this thing
and once again if there is cat person out there whose cat refuses to wear a collar and had an engineering background..help, i want to design an electronic sliding cat door based on paw print image recognition system..if I can dream it, it can be done
