Mark Roseman has kicked off a second blog life with some thoughts of wikis as being 'better suited when a group as a whole is contributing to a single artifact' which is interesting! Weblogs would seem to be better as individual tools, wouldn't they?
Perhaps weblogs feeding into a course wiki could be more appropriate? I can't help but feel that there's a kinda tension around collaborative weblogs... but I don't know what it is!
