I just attended a teleconference where Brian Lamb, D'Arcy Norman, and Alan Levine presented The Fuss about RSS (this wiki links to a lot of resources, tutorials, and information). They did a great job! Some of their statements... [elearnspace blog]

And guess what, I might as well have been there... this was just at the bottom of my aggregator... this (what I''ve got out of this technology in the last 20 minutes!) is ABSOLUTELY WHY I love this stuff... who needs a better argument about how RSS is so cool... happy bunny!

New Blog: COP^2: "Smatterings of thought about communities of practice, instructional technology, virtual communities, technology-based training, collaborative learning environments, e-learning, organizational learning, and performance improvement." Part of a series of research projects funded by Masie Center [elearnspace blog]

Will be subscribing to that one... on the 'subscribing' thing loved what Greg had to say over the weekend "if you don't want people to use your content, don't syndicate it". Couldn't have put it better meself :o)

"A fascinating article charging - and making stick - the journal referee system of preserving orthodoxy and mediocrity at the expense of innovation. The first part of this paper is a must-read. Sadly, the rest falls flat." [OLDaily]

Flat or not... I reckon this is well worth a look!

I want to read this again. Sebastian Fiedler's blogging paper. Wonder if it's changed much from the first draft he put up?
