Via Ten Reasons Why, that'd be an interesting one to go to (but I'll happily hang with SiT)!

Weblogs are not Weblogs. Quote: "I am in perfect agreement as well and believe that this is an issue that deserves more and deeper discussion. With the word blog now we are discounting a whole set of wonderful applications that are not just publishing your most immediate mind thoughts but which can provide much greater benefits, value and reach than the "personal diary" format can ever do"

Comment: See also, this link and this one at the Technology Source. Seb Fiedler has been arguing this point for a while - we are talking about low-cost, easy to use, personal publishing tools. [Serious Instructional Technology]

Wonder if this'll make them easier to sell :o)

Elizabeth Lane Lawley shares some interesting thoughts on the effectiveness of your typical conference / lecture... heard it many times before but gets a lot more interesting when you start thinking about the possibilities ICTs offer in terms of adapting this... worth a good read!

Months ago, I posted list of bloggers focusing on education/technology. I had quite a few responses and additions to my original list. I've transferred the page to its new permanent home. If you want to add someone (or yourself) let me know. [elearnspace blog]

Cool! Good chance to check on my subscriptions, excellent resource to point other ed techs too too! Now if it had RSS buttons for each blog, captured a screen, pulled the 'description (i.e. 'a teaching and learning edublog') in and so on it would be amaaaazing (not that this isn't already brilliant already!)
