I went to your website and downloaded some songs. How much for a CD? Here is my response: The music in the Listening Lounge is free - for personal use only. Burn a CD yourself, if you like. Some of the music is not, and will not be available in any form anywhere else.
Some of the music in the Listening Lounge can be found on CDs we have released: Ottmar Liebert - In the Arms of Love Ottmar Liebert + Luna Negra - The Santa Fe Sessions Ottmar Liebert's Euphoria - nouveaumatic Jon Gagan - Transit All of those CDs you can order here

Named for the technology it uses to replace conventional steering, accelerating and transmission controls, Hy-wire has electronic wires in its chassis instead of mechanical parts. Those wires are connected to a docking port, sitting a few feet forward of the driver's seat. With the press of another button, the controller moved toward me, with a futuristic whizzing sound. The vertical handles, or paddles, work like a motorcycle -- twist to go, squeeze to stop. Steering is done by rotating the control mechanism like a joystick, causing the wheels to turn. via [Critical Section] Bring it on already

That the Amnesty International web site is getting blocked by the Chinese government is obvious, but the New Mexico state government site is getting blocked as well...and how about the Red Lobster restaurant site getting blocked? Is it a meeting place for anti-chinese propagandists in the U.S.? Or is it the name Red Lobster that is objectionable? I personally think it might be the food and will block the site from my browser as well... thanks 2 Canton

Music: Trio Mediaeval - Words of the Angel
Mood: awedI am listening to the above CD right now and it is very beautiful. Just the gorgeous voices of three women from Oslo and the natural reverb in a church in Gönningen, Germany. I love this line from the liner notes: The intense clarity and life that they bring to it goes a long way to make up for the accident of history which forbade their sex from singing it first time around.

Music: Karajan - Adagio Karajan
Mood: frank!mcwop writes "MSNBC is running a commentary asking: 'Can "Star Wars: Episode III" be saved?' It proposes changes such as ripping off Akira Kurosawa, getting ... [Slashdot] My answer: No, nope, nein, non, can't happen...and here comes my frank moment: I usually can't stand any music by John Williams. He ruined many movies for me. So that doesn't help - on top of the problems mentioned on MSNBC.

Survey Reading some of the comments from our Survey, it becomes very clear that computers are not part of the music experience for many people yet. I say yet, because over time this will undoubtedly become the way most music is acquired. Maybe I should go fishing for five years.....wait, I have never fished in my life......

Fans gather at a Moogfest to celebrate the 40th birthday of the Moog synthesizer. Surprisingly, the analog Moog sound -- created by a tub of knobs and wires -- is making a comeback. Noah Shachtman reports from New York. [Wired News] Well, do let me know when the analog tape recorder renaissance starts 'cause I would love to unload my 2 inch 24 track Sony multitrack recorder...

If you have an invitation to open an account on Google's new e-mail service, you could sell it on eBay for as much as $60. But if cash is a little too prosaic for you, your Gmail invitation could net you 4 pounds of fresh fudge, some Jewish mystical knowledge, a photo of a wife and a girlfriend kissing, a tarantula, Paris Hilton's phone number or any one of more than 1,000 other options.
