Citing legacy of uncivil war, Paynter opts out Amid growing concerns that the complex legacy of war may be inhibiting qualified draftees from Presidential candidacy consideration, Sufficiency Party voters learned this morning that Frank Paynter, frontrunner for the party's Presidential candidate, has opted out from primary consideration. Paynter, gracious as his custom, simply cited Sherman's "war is hell" as reason to not inherit the next Commander in Chief's role in force tranformation. SPUDs - Sufficiency Party Unity Delegates - will meet later today to discuss whether or not to conduct a new straw poll before next weekend.
