Diane's birthday
Yesterday we went to our dear friends Diane and Jonathan's house to celebrate Diane's recent birthday.
It was great to be able to celebrate with her, Jonathan, her brother-in-law Steve and other friends. If, as Ben Franklin and many others have said, the true measure of wealth and success is the dear friends who love you; then Diane is a very successful and wealthy woman. She is thought of with admiration and love by a lot of people including Sue, Kenneth and I.
Many voices were raised as we sang her happy birthday. It was a lot of fun!
