Off to Chico we went!
Last weekend we went to Chico. Maybe it was the semi-holiday (Mother's Day) weekend or maybe that is normal, but the traffic seemed awful and it seemed to take forever coming and going. We met Wendy Bennett and took home our blue Burmese kitten. We also got together with Lynn and Brian Johnson and belatedly celebrated their wedding. It was great seeing them and a lot of fun. Lynn has been a good friend for a long time and she was at Sue and my wedding. We went to an art show that Lynn was involved in and went out for dinner. Chico is a nice town. It is both a valley town and a college town. It was kind of a cross between Modesto and Santa Cruz. Chico state also has a well earned reputation as a party school. We had a very good time with good friends.
