I'm not really big into the candy bar scene, not so much out of my healthy eating habits certainly, but more for the fact that I don't really enjoy most of them.  But I have to say, I found a couple of these Reese's Fastbreak bars lying around the house, and they are most excellent.

This candy bar conisseur tip is the first and (hopefully) the last of it's kind on MA.  ;-)

Album Currently:  Starflyer 59 - Old

There are songwriters and bands whose song presentation, for one reason or another, make them instantly recognizable.  And even though they recycle that formula for album after album, each new record manages to never seem like a retread, but instead another opportunity to hear greatness in action.

So it is with Jason Martin and Starflyer 59.  "Old" is not, in my opinion, their best material ever (falling at least behind his last effort, "Leave Here a Stranger") but it's another better than solid entry into the SF59 discography.  Martin's lyrics are as pointless and downright bizarre as ever, though he manages to be different enough to not fall into pop banality (and apparently no lyrics stolen from FedEx boxes this time around, though who knows from whence they did come.)

Another note of interest:  Frank Lenz signed up to deliver drums and backing vocals on this album, hence the "Four Seasons"-esque bgv's on "Underneath" and "Major Awards".

The Geek Test

I am:  14.39842% - Geekish Tendencies

I'm disappointed, I would've ranked much higher than that in the past...I'm not even a premier geek anymore *sniff*
