ugh... It's midsummer and the heat is apparently starting to get to me. As you've probably noticed, there come periods where I would just prefer to not keep up with this blog for a few days and just soak my head in a nice foam bath.
It's always been difficult for me to keep motivated to do something for a long stretch of time, expecially writing, which is vitally important since I purport to make a career someday out of being a writer of some fashion, and that's a reason why blogging has been a Godsend, for me at least. Not only does it give me an outlet to fire off things, but the fact that somebody actually reads it keeps me accountable for keeping it relatively updated (though I've been doing an admittedly less-than-stellar job of that since the summer began.
Now, if I could just garner the attention span to writer more flowery, longwinded prose more often.
