r-a-n, d-o-m, i-c-i-t-y I could be accused of being Mickey Mouse here, but worse things have and probably will happen again.
Cheap CD's are always a plus, even if they are of songs over 200 years old. I picked up a 5-pack of "Mozart's Masterpieces" for ten bucks through Christianbook.com. Listened to the "symphonies" disc earlier today. In my very limited knowledge of classical music, I've slightly preferred the Eastern European composers to the Western ones, but, as I mentioned, that's only through a little exposure to each (primarily my 8-year run as a band nerd through high school).
Mozart himself produced material at an absurd rate, though he lived to be only 34 years old, and led a pretty raucus life at that. (Apparently rockstardom has its root much deeper than we knew).
I'm also starting John Stackhouse's new book "Humble Apologetics," which I'm very much looking forward to. It tapped one of Christianity Today's 2003 book awards.
"The pressure's on a kissing song/will that make all my dreams?"
Cheers!
